Introduction to PA66 Plastic Raw Material
PA66 plastic raw material is a semi-transparent, white or black crystalline polyamide resin, chemically known as polyamide 66 (abbreviated as PA in English), commonly referred to as nylon 66. It has a density of 1.15 g/cm³, a melting point of 252°C, a thermal decomposition temperature exceeding 350°C, and an equilibrium water absorption rate of 2.5%. It exhibits high strength, wear-resistant self-lubricating properties, and acid and alkali resistance. By reinforcing it with glass fibers, its heat resistance can be enhanced to over 250°C, making it widely used in applications such as mechanical gears, automotive bearings, and electrical components.
