Honeycomb board skeleton box
Product Introduction:
Honeycomb board skeleton box is a packaging box mainly made of honeycomb board, which has the characteristics of high strength, lightweight, and environmental protection. It is widely used in logistics transportation, automotive parts, electronic appliances and other industries.
Structure and Materials
Surface layer: usually made of modified polypropylene (PP) and glass fiber composite, with a thickness of 3-5mm and a surface hardness of Shore D75. Some parts will also be filled with nano-sized silica to reduce wear resistance, and surface micro grain treatment will be carried out to increase friction coefficient. The inner layer may be bonded with 2-3mm thick EVA foam to absorb vibration energy during transportation.
Core layer: It is the core support part of the honeycomb panel skeleton box, made of PP/PE copolymer, with a hexagonal honeycomb structure, side length of 5-8mm, and wall thickness of 0.3-0.5mm. This structure can evenly disperse local pressure and greatly improve the compressive strength per unit mass. Some honeycomb panels will also adopt gradient density design, with a gradual increase in density from the edge to the center, to enhance the overall stiffness of the box and reduce weight.
Bottom layer: Generally, there are modular support feet that use ABS plastic feet with adjustable height. The feet are equipped with spring dampers that can absorb vertical vibration energy. There will also be trapezoidal reinforcement ribs distributed in a cross shape at the bottom to enhance the stability of the box.
